Secret security clearance.
Certifications for Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) /first aid techniques.
Annual Physical Ability Test (PAT).
Possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License.
Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10%.
Complete weapons qualifications.
Position has been designated "Mission Essential".
Meet individual reliability and suitability standards prescribed by the Army Civilian Police and Security Guard Program (Army Regulation (AR) 190-56 and AR 380-67).
Position requires shift work.
Successfully graduate from the USAMPS Conservation Law Enforcement Officer Course within one year.
Subject to possible civil action due to improper exercise of authority or injudicious use of force.
Successfully graduated from a United States Army Civilian Police Academy.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) participating in planning, coordinating, and conducting fish and wildlife regulations; 2)provide physical security in remote areas of the installation; 3) conduct community relations activities which enhance appreciation for wildlife.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).

This position is a TERM position. It is a time limited position and may be extended up to a maximum of six years.
