Duties

Help
  • You will provide technical personnel, processes, facilities, and engineering technical service required for organic Lead System Integration design.
  • You will be installing and testing in-service engineering for C5ISR systems.
  • You will lead diverse teams of personnel and is responsible for the development, integration, testing and technical support of multiple variants of systems, such as TIPS.
  • You will be responsible for project planning, budgeting, and scheduling; resource and risk identification.

  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or DS-05 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1. Providing senior authoritative expert guidance and rapid program/project management for technical and operational functions to include high quality engineering/technical support in developing information technology rapid solutions.
2. Leading multi-disciplinary teams participating in design reviews, program management reviews and technical information meetings by providing detailed documentation including developing exit and assessment criteria with regards to the unmanned control system and data dissemination technologies.
3. Leading multi-disciplinary teams in the planning and execution of complex system/system-of-system unmanned system integration efforts that meet aggressive program cost, schedule and performance requirements.
4. Working directly with sponsor and team members to ensure appropriate funding is received and executed in accordance with program, division and statutory financial requirements.
5. Maintaining and track program budget and spend plan using earned value management (EVM).
6. Providing relevant inputs to the resource-loaded work breakdown structure (WBS)/integrated master schedule (IMS).
7. Represent as an expert on matters pertaining to the resources required for the development and integration of unmanned control system technologies.
