Duties

Help

Serve as a critical partner to the PDB Director in leading the PDB enterprise-driving high-quality production, overseeing IC representatives and briefers, and ensuring seamless lash-up to the PDB customer base and IC partners.

Conduct senior review of a broad range of IC products for senior policymakers and principals in support of US foreign policy and national security interests.

Provide leadership and expert guidance to IC analysts and managers to develop well crafted, sophisticated intelligence products.

Develop exemplars, best practices, and instructions for dissemination to IC analysts.

Foster outreach to the IC in collaboration with PDB Staff by giving briefings, teaching workshops, and attending off-sites or group meetings to share best practices and lessons learned.

Supervise members of the PDB Staff, helping to advance the career of officers through feedback, mentoring, and writing performance reports.

Lead, manage, and direct a professional level staff, evaluate performance, collaborate on goal setting, and provide feedback and guidance regarding personal and professional development opportunities.

Develop and maintain expertise on the full range of current intelligence and policy issues.

Lead, initiate, and cultivate productive working relationships with varied networks of colleagues in CIA, the ODNI, and throughout the IC.

Generate ideas for PDB production, develop understanding of the arc for multiple story lines, work collaboratively with methodological experts to use tools and approaches to research, analyze, and present data related to substantive topics included in the PDB.

Work with IC analysts to enhance understanding of best practices.

Lead a professional staff in successfully defining and managing complex programs and projects that may include ill-defined requirements, ambiguity, parallel tasks, multiple dependencies, high risks, and multiple interfaces; ensure timelines, costs, deliverables, and outcomes are achieved according to approved plans.

Must be a current permanent ODNI employee.

Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements:

Expert-level experience reviewing, writing, and briefing all-source analysis for senior policymakers.

Proven record of managing teams including demonstrated competencies in conflict management, leveraging diversity, developing staff, and team building.

Master knowledge of analytic tradecraft and understanding of IC policies, capabilities, and procedures.

Expert-level experience as a senior manager of all-source intelligence finished production.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience as determined by mission specialty.

Desired Requirements:

Experience as a senior analytic manager.

Experience on the PDB staff or extensive experience briefing top US national security leaders.

Education

Bachelor's Degree.
