Duties

Help
  • Coordinating operational projects to develop and implement sustainable infrastructure asset management plans, utilizing risk-based life-cycle cost strategies for effective Corps asset management.
  • Leading positions comprehensively engaged in asset management. Executing strategic communications, coordination, coaching, facilitation, problem-solving, and integration tasks within a cohesive management strategy.
  • Formulating robust Asset Management Plans, overseeing lifecycle management of infrastructure assets with adaptive strategies for asset value and regional utility.
  • Collaborating closely with Operating Project Managers, Maintenance Management/FEM System Administrators, Program Managers for safety and environmental aspects, technical experts, and business line subject matter experts for diverse mission facets.
  • Standardizing business processes, instilling best practices, accountability, and predictive resource requirements.
  • Overseeing scheduling, coordination, and execution of the district OCA program across all Operations and Maintenance Business Lines and District functions.
  • Coordinating the integration of Facilities and Equipment Maintenance (FEM) System within District organizations.
  • Leading comprehensive asset inventory efforts.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes engagement in an Asset Management Program involving condition assessments, risk assessments, utilization of a maintenance management system, and lifecycle asset analytics across multiple business lines and program functions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
