As a Training Technician, GS-1702-09, you will administer and oversee the Individual Training Management Program within the state. The incumbent exercises technical responsibility for the Army Training Requirements and Resources System (ATRRS),Army Funding Allocation Module (AFAM), Automated Funds Control and Orders System (AFCOS);and Training Utilization Module (TUM) as it pertains to individual training. Provides program assistance and guidance to training personnel in the operations and maintenance of various automated systems.

This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard, required prior to the effective date of placement.

May be required to successfully complete a probationary period.

Qualifications
AREA OF CONSIDERATION:This position is in the Excepted Federal Civil Service "under the authority of 32 U.S.C. 709", and is open to Category 1 & 3 Only. Category 1: All permanent/indefinite (T32 and T5) technicians employed by the agency WITH dual FL National Guard military membership; Category 3: All current military members of the Florida National Guard. First consideration will be given to Category 1.
PCS:Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs, Recruitment or Relocation Incentive MAY be authorized. Authorization for payment of PCS expenses, Recruitment or Relocation Incentive will be granted ONLY after determination is made that payment is in the best interest of the Florida National Guard.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 1-year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade; experience in performing interviews and counseling techniques; training techniques and instruction methods; task analysis procedures, learning processes, curriculum development, training evaluations, and education and training systems and products; effective writing skills; editing practices; instructional media application, training reporting, program and curriculum validation, and implementation procedures; experience in scheduling training events and facilities; supporting assistance visits and training meetings; or assisting in work center and individual job qualification standard development; education institution registration requirements; and military personnel classification system and policies; experience in the capabilities of communicative interpersonal skill applications and distance learning concepts; experience as a participant and presenter during training and military or civilian conference events.
