Duties

Help
  • Serve as a budget analyst in the Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) G8, a Major Subordinate Command (MSC) of Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER).
  • Perform a wide range of duties relating to budget analysis, formulation, presentation, justification, and execution.
  • Responsible for a subset of NETCOM?s $1.5 billion dollar budget, distributed across 6 subordinate units located at various geographic locations worldwide.
  • Develop and analyze funding distribution and spend plans.
  • Review and analyze execution to funds distribution for relevant time periods.
  • Proactively identify and research disconnects and recommend solutions to command personnel.
  • Review and research current and prior year execution in all appropriations to ensure compliance with the associated policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Advise management of problems, trends, unfavorable ratios, and deviations from normal situations, make recommendations to management for corrective action.

  • Incumbent is required to comply with all DoD and DA certification requirements. Certifications are conditions of employment for this position. Failure to obtain this certification within the required time may subject the incumbent to adverse action.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by Detailed knowledge of automated accounting and documenting systems in order to locate and analyze data pertaining to the budget for a variety of substantive programs; knowledge of Army programming cycle to include the use of applicable regulations and policies relating to Program Objective Memorandums (POM) and Command Requirements Validation Board (CRVB); experience executing multiple appropriations in accordance with fiscal law (OMA Base, OCO/OOC, OPA, etc.); and skills working with developing documenting, presenting, executing, and controlling budget plans and programs.
