TTS is seeking to fill ONE TERM appointment at the GS-14 level.
This is a virtual/remote position.

You must perform the following Major Duties utilizing expert level skill, mastery knowledge and significant IT experience:
GS-14:
Supervisory:
Directly manages and supports a cohort of early-career technology Fellows.
Designs and delivers their learning and development throughout the two-year cohort experience.
Identifies and provides appropriate training, developmental assignments, and support.
Develops and maintains strong working relationships with partner agencies and supports the learning and development of Fellows while on assignment by augmenting project specific support offered by the Fellow’s placement agency and team.
Senior IT Expert in Data Management:
Supports Fellows in data management functions such as: analyzing and defining data requirements and specifications; designing, normalizing, developing, installing, and implementing databases; maintaining, monitoring, performance tuning, backup, and recovery of databases; installing, configuring, and maintaining database management systems software.
Provides expert IT technical advice, leadership, and direction on all data management related issues for the improvement of the product, platform, or services associated with assigned initiatives, projects, and/or agencies.
Facilitates a work environment that encourages creative thinking and innovation; designs and implements agile, human-centered, cutting-edge data management projects, products, and/or services.

The GS-14salary range starts at $116,393 per year.
If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.

Experience managing or supervising staff that provide or support delivery of modern IT product(s), platform(s), or service(s);
Experience leading the overall planning, management, and direction of a program or of projects;
Experience as a data science & analytics practitioner in a technical environment;
Experience with agile or iterative development methodologies;
Experience building relationships and alignment with partners and/or stakeholders.
