Help

The Incumbent performs the following duties:

  • The incumbent is responsible for the reliable day-to-day operations of the IT systems that support the AOP security command center (SCC), which ensure the life/safety and protection of Gallery staff, visitors and works of art.  Oversees the effective daily operation of IT systems with special emphasis on the applications and databases that provide critical information to the SCC.
  • In partnership with TTS-OPS, develops and evolves an IT architecture that supports the vision, strategy and goals of AOP.  Ensures that the AOP IT systems are built and operated to be highly resilient to failures and have documented and tested system recovery and business continuity plans in place.
  • Directs teams of technical, professional and management staff in the successful fulfillment of IT service delivery commitments.  Plans, schedules, and assigns work.  Tracks progress and performance quality, and decides acceptability of services and outputs.
  • Develops and manages strategic vendor relationships.  Develops statements of work, project justifications, and funding requests.  Plans system development and upgrade projects.  Prepares and maintains project schedules and budgets from inception through completion.

Qualifications

Candidates must meet the Qualification Standards Handbook requirements for GS-2210-15. Candidates must possess at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent in responsibility to the GS-14 level in the Federal service, managing operations of an industrial security management and fire alarm system.


Those applicants who meet the minimum qualification requirements will be evaluated against these factors to determine the best-qualified candidates.

4. Ability to manage contracts

Qualified Category - In addition to meeting minimum qualifications, applicants must demonstrate a basic level of knowledge, skill and ability of the position.
