Summary

Performs daily housekeeping duties which includes dusting, polishing furniture, vacuuming and/or sweeping, cleaning/sanitizing bathrooms and kitchen area, trash removal, making beds and removing/changing bedding, restocking of amenities, bed and bath linens and other supplies, checking condition of room assets and reporting problems to supervisor and responding to customer requests.

Duties

Help

Maintains the cabins, suites, and motel rooms in clean, orderly and sanitary condition. Makes beds, changes linens, sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes floors; cleans, disinfects and deodorizes lavatories, toilets and showers; clean mirrors, refrigerators, stove, oven and cabinets; dust ledges and woodwork. Replaces deodorizers, toilet tissue, hand towels, soap, and cleans appliances. Notes condition of facilities and reports to supervisor such things as broken windows, water leaks, clogged drains, infestations and other conditions requiring maintenance.

  • Successful completion of National Agency Background (NACI) Check required.
  • This position involves work on workdays and may involve weekends, and holidays, as well as rotating shifts.
  • Physical exertion is involved in standing and walking for long periods, some bending, stooping and lifting is required.

Qualifications

Must have general knowledge of cleaning procedures, cleaning equipment, commonly used chemicals (including SDS) and basic safety is required.

Additional information

Salary is dependent on experience and/or education. Some positions have special requirements. Selectee may be required to complete a one (1) year probationary period.
