Summary

This position is located at facilities within the Business Operations Division. (Selected candidate may be placed at any of the facilities within this division such as Gordon Lanes Bowling Center, Bingo Palace, etc.)

Hours of operation will be identified upon interview with hiring official.

This position is an open continuous announcement from 27 July 23 to 25 September 23. There will be weekly cut-offs starting on Monday, 31 July 23 and as requested by management for additional selections.

Duties

Help
  • Prepares and serves food items which include, but are not limited to, hot dogs, nachos, chips, candy, lemonade drinks, etc.
  • Keeps work area clean and orderly.
  • Collects sales slips, total sales on cash register, accepts payment from patrons and makes change as necessary.
  • Maintains related cash records.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Position, duty hours, location and/or activity are subject to change based on mission requirements.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a medical examination.
  • Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually.
  • Must meet state/local age requirements at the time of appointment if serving alcoholic beverages.
  • Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Be able to lift and carry weights up to 40 pounds.
  2. Possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory.

Highly Preferred Criteria:
  1. Willing and able to work a rotating schedule to include days, nights, weekends and holidays.
