This is NOT a remote position - the incumbent will be required and expected to report to the office based upon mission needs.

If selected as the Management and Program Analyst, you will facilitate multi-functional programs in critical areas while ensuring compliance with critical reporting requirements. Your responsibilities would include, but not be limited to analysis and program management activities within the branch under the jurisdiction of the Assistant Special Agent in Charge. Some of the work assignments will include:

Preparing senior-level reports of law enforcement case activities.
Serve as the division's lead for the Semiannual Reporting to Congress and other agency law enforcement reporting.
Conducting submissions and compliance reporting involving the National Incident-Based Reporting System and law enforcement case dispositions (Fix NICS Act). In this capacity, serves as the primary point of contact and our expert with the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Criminal Justice Information Services Division-related topics and matters.
Writes and/or reviews policies, procedures, and/or general guidance. Benchmarks current agency practices with other law enforcement agencies.
Participate in the division's office inspection program, serving as a team member for onsite reviews internally and externally for peer reviews of other Offices of the Inspector General. Responsible for the completion of pre-inspection data collection and post-inspection report preparation.
Coordinates with field offices and other divisions within the Office of the Inspector General to respond to internal and/or external data calls/requests for assistance.
Creates, reviews, and/or revises agency policy or other related memoranda in support of the division's law enforcement mission.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position at the GS-13 grade level, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level obtained in the public sector. (Specialized experience is paid or unpaid experience which has equipped you with the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.) Examples of specialized experience include such duties as: Written and oral communication skills; analyze data and report on trends; attention to detail and provide accurate data results; computer skills that include the ability to formulate search terms within databases and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel; organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously; research issues and solve problems independently; work effectively with a team; and the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and duties.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade level (or equivalent).
