Summary

You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST (P-Card Agency Program Coordinator) in the P-CARD PROGRAM MANAGEMENT BRANCH of ACQUISITION POLICY/OVERSIGHT DIVISION of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV.


The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $145,617).

Help
  • You will serve as the Purchase Card Agency Program Coordinator (APC) for the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD)
  • You will manage the Government Commercial Purchase Card (GCPC) program and conduct high-level analysis of procurement trends and practices.
  • You will maintain accountability and responsibility for all operational training, purchase card accounts, and warrants for assigned personnel.

  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Advising on acquisition and procurement strategies by analyzing and evaluating government purchase card programs to ensure compliance with government policies.
