Duties

Help
  • Performs "hands-on" supervision of the restaurant. This includes but is not limited to occasional non-scheduled assistance with serving, hosting, cooking, bar-tending and other duties.
  • Adherence to established schedules of activities and priorities; assures the presence of personnel to carry out the services offered; provides information concerning services, prices, dress codes, standards of behavior, and special events.
  • Ensures staff is following established recipes and procedures. Helps control guest flow and monitors ticket times.
  • Ensures consistency in food and service to increase sales by performing table visits. Maintains order and harmony. As necessary, seeks assistance from military police, to control unacceptable behavior.
  • Keeps an operational log while on duty; opens and/or closes the facility; performs fire and security checks. Assumes responsibility for cash during shift including cash collected from servers and bartenders guest checks.

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Working; nights, weekends, holidays with some day time and special events.
  • incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities
  • Successful completion of either front of the House or Back of the House Franchisor specified training
  • Pre-employment physical is required work requires the ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • A food handler?s certificate is required.
  • Satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, with an outcome of a favorable suitability determination.

Qualifications

  1. At least one year of experience effectively working in a fast paced, stressful environment at a large Name Brand Casual Dining restaurant establishment
  2. Must possess good interpersonal, communication and customer service skill

Additional information

**Note: A one-time signing bonus of $500 will be initiated upon the first full pay period and is for new employees only. A $500 retention incentive will be paid in one lump-sum payment after the first six months of continued employment and a $1,000 retention incentive will be paid in one lump-sum payment after the first twelve months of continued employment with DFMWR. To qualify for the retention incentives, the staff member must not have had any LMER actions during that time or currently pending.
