As a Visual Information Specialist at the GS-1084-09/11, some of your typical work assignments may include:
Creates engaging graphics such as digital and print materials, brochures, flyers, social media graphics, and website visuals.
Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring brand consistency and visual impact.
Responsible for developing original marketing concepts and visual styles for SSS publications.
Knowledge of marketing principles and understands the significance of customer experience for the Agency by providing the representatives, stakeholders and Agency employees with information concerning its operations and activities.
Makes recommendations to supervisor on appropriate means for producing and evaluating effectiveness of digital marketing assets developed to communicate to internal and external audiences.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Assist in the development of digital publications, talking points, presentations, and other communication materials to raise SSS registration awareness.
Proficient in editing, writing, and creating presentation materials, advertisements, and other media including marketing assets. Assists with the Quarterly Issue of the SSS publication and develops visual assets.

Minimum Qualification [GS-9]
A. I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 level of the Federal service that equipped me with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience may include: use Adobe Creative Suite Design and Layout software (Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat DC) to create graphic design files of multi- page documents that can be published via offset printing, digital printing, and as accessible PDF files; use graphic design principles to interpret and apply an organization or agency's graphic standards; use a web content management system to develop, maintain, and troubleshoot websites.

C. I possess a combination of specialized experience and graduate education as described above that, when combined, equals 100% of the total requirement. Only graduate education beyond the second full year (36 semester hours) is creditable using this method.

PROOF OF EDUCATION:
