We are looking for a result-driven Senior Project Manager to be responsible for a multi-disciplined project delivery team with responsibility for assuring that the project stays focused on the customers' needs and expectations.   • Serves as a Senior Project Manager, responsible for the overall management, control, coordination and execution of assigned programs and projects.
  • Reviews design and specifications for projects and provides technical guidance to multi disciplined staff.
  • Controls and manages project milestones and budgets from planning through construction and initial operations.
  • Represents the District, serving as the district's primary point of contact for projects assigned with sponsor/customer, Federal, state and local government agencies, Congressional interests, other external organizations and higher authorities.
  • Examples of programs include Military Construction (MILCON) and Sustainment Restoration Moderation (SRM).

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) preforming project and program management business processes to manage project milestones, scheduling, scoping, and budgeting involving projects related to Military Construction (MILCON), Sustainment Restoration Moderation (SRM), or Operation and Maintenance (O&A); 2) developing annual program workplans and program estimates; and 3) coordinating responses to high level contacts regarding correspondence, inquiries, or directives. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
