The FBI Cyber Division, Cyber Technical Analytics and Operations Section (CTAOS), Cyber Infrastructure Services Unit (CISU) located in Chantilly, Virginia, has an immediate vacancy for a highly motivated, self-starter to join our Unit. CDU's mission is to support investigative and intelligence efforts by building and continuously improving a highly reliable, value driven centralized infrastructure and backbone services for CyD, headquarters and field offices.

Duties

Help

  • Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies.
  • Ensure the technical team is delivering value that meets stakeholders' expectations and security standards for on premise and cloud components of the infrastructure.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape, market trends, and customer needs to inform the product strategy and backlog.
  • Analyze design constraints, trade-offs, and detailed system and security design, and consider life cycle support.
  • Verify stability, interoperability, portability, and/or scalability of system architecture.
  • Design and implement infrastructure solutions to adequately address security and all other requirements.
  • Develop detailed design documentation for component and interface specifications to support system design and development.
  • Develop mitigation strategies to address cost, schedule, performance, and security risk.
  • Collaborate, design and implement solutions to meet specific operational needs and environmental factors (e.g., access controls, automated applications, networked operations, high integrity and availability requirements, multilevel security/processing of multiple classification levels, and processing Sensitive Compartmented Information).
  • Provide input to the Risk Management Framework process activities and related documentation.

Qualifications

GS-13: Applicant must possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level. SE is defined as follows:

  • Experience working with IT strategy, IT operational policies, procedures, methods, and programs and specifications, as well as functional characteristics of the IT systems.
  • Experience working with and understanding Federal IT policies promulgated by Congress as well as other Federal agencies to ensure policies, and procedures, guidelines, and systems are in compliance with Federal directives and standards.

Education

Education may not be substituted for Specialized Experience at this level.
