Duties

Help
  • Extracts, assembles, verifies and prepares input for automated and manual reports in support of the labor cost assignment role in Medical Expense Performance Reporting System (MEPRS).
  • Serves as the subject matter expert and point of contact for department guidance for Defense Medical Human Resources System Internet (DMHRSi).
  • Assists staff with timecard discrepancies.
  • Receives visitors and phone calls.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience and/or education requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-04 grade level in the Federal service which includes assisting with clerical duties performing any of the following, answering phones, scheduling meetings or appointments, preparing correspondences, utilizing office automation software, assisting customers or staff members with basic inquiries and maintaining automated or paper files.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-04).

Have successfully completed four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-04).
