About the position:
This position will be assigned to the Civilian Personnel Flight Non-Appropriated Fund Human Resources Office.

This position is a Regular Full-Time position. You are guaranteed 35 hours, however you could work up to 40 hours per week. As a RFT employee, you are eligible to earn annual leave, sick leave and benefits, to include Health/Dental, Life Insurance, Federal Long-Term Care Insurance, Employer Matching 401K and NAF Retirement. This position is Telework Eligible.

Duties

Help

-Greet visitors to the Civilian Personnel Flight
-Schedule Pre-Employment appointments
-Assists in providing recruitment and placement service for perspective applicants during the pre - employment session to include completion of documents and fingerprinting.
-Processing a full range of personnel actions such as appointments, position and pay changes, transfers and separations.
-Maintains Entry on Duty Tracker, NAF SharePoint for vacancy and referral updates
-Checks items of information for conformance to applicable laws, regulations, etc. Contacts appropriate sources to secure missing data or documents.
-Provides specific items of information to NAF employees regarding personnel matters including, but not limited to, insurance, retirement, 401 (k), unemployment compensation, workers' compensation, and awards, found in commonly used regulations, instructions, or manuals.
-In-process new employees, providing an overview of employee benefits and assisting in the completion of employment documents.
-May maintain Official Personnel Folders, position control registers, office files, group insurance files, and ensure official personal files are mailed to the designated agency.
-May be responsible for processing security checks to include installation records check, state criminal history repository checks, and national agency checks.
-Operates a computer remote terminal and word processing equipment.
-Inputs personnel data into the automated NAF personnel data system to process a variety of personnel actions
-Complete required data for Employment Verifications.
-Performs other related duties as assigned.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience: Experience working in an office setting responsible for clerical work of any kind; experience following established rules, regulations, procedures and program requirements of one or more areas of a personnel system; experience utilizing office automation software (MS Windows, MS Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Excel); experience providing customer service.

Conditions of Employment: The position requires successful and favorable completion of applicable background investigation. Must be able to maintain a Secret Clearance.

Education
