Duties

Help
  • You will certify new personnel as being qualified to administer APEX exams.
  • You will establish new testing locations when required.
  • You will maintain and departmental supplies and inventories and collect data for quarterly purchases.
  • You will advise and instruct staff concerning the required reporting and general and clerical administrative procedures of organization and the Aviation Standard Test Battery (ASTB).
  • You will establish and maintain an appropriate electronic and paper filing system for easy retrieval.
  • You will prepare routine correspondence and reports from data collected.
  • You will manage and document from paper and web based test users to improve their customer experience.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.

Qualifications

TYPING PROFICIENCY: This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Please include your typing speed within your application.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

  • Performing paper and web based training and conducting interpretation.
  • Managing and documenting feedback from paper and web based test users.
  • Locating, compiling, and providing data and information to provide reports, maintain office records and determine appropriate media and format for presentations.
  • Assisting with administering annual training plans for the organization.
  • Researching and analyzing data to ensure accuracy to meet organizations policies and regulations.
