You may be subject to unfavorable conditions that include high and low temperature extremes, and excessive winds.
You will be exposed to loud noise, vibration, dirt, gaseous fumes, cleaning solvents, oil, grease, and machines with dangerous moving parts.

Qualifications
Qualifications for initial cutoff date must be met by 06/08/2023.
Minimum Qualification Requirement - To qualify, there is no specific length of training or experience required; however, your resume must demonstrate enough experience to show your ability to perform the duties of a Industrial Equipment Mechanic (Open Until Filled) without more than normal supervision. Examples of such experience include: performing reoccurring maintenance on industrial type equipment, i.e., pumps, drive mechanisms, rate controllers, etc. Troubleshooting and diagnosing various types of problems associated with equipment used in a wastewater treatment plant facility. Performing scheduled inspections of associated mechanical systems, documenting impending or actual malfunctions, and performing follow-up preventive maintenance. Performing repairs of special rigging equipment and pumps, valves, drives, sleeves, speed reduction gears, manifolds and components of a wastewater system; operating a motor vehicle to transport personnel and supplies; and operating utility trucks with a gross weight up to 32,000 pounds.
