Duties

Help
  • Manage sustainment and transition strategies, foster and maintain strong partnerships with program customers, and drive exceptional customer service quality for the Army logistics and tactical finance Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Lead and perform Agile software development in a major Agile role such as Release Train Engineer (RTE).
  • Lead organizational Software Lifecycle Development (SDLC) Agile events, such as solution Planning and or Program Increment (PI) Planning.
  • Provide software life cycle oversight for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for Capability Support.
  • Employ broad and deep understanding of Systems Applications and Products in Data Processing (SAP) architecture to direct, guide, and assist efforts.
  • Serve as escalation (POC) among project Teams to coordinate resolution of program risks or issues.
  • Maintain communication with, and inform Project Teams on program status, initiatives, requirements, events, and overall work progress.
  • Chair or coordinate standing program forums / meetings; capture actions and follow up on resolutions; prepare agendas and set and maintain course of interactions.
  • Meet with the functional teams, customers, and other system stakeholders for requirements management and alignment with the overall mission and process.
  • Serve as expert analyst and recognized authority responsible for broad projects/program areas in one or more administrative/business fields for the information technology resources.

  • This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Engineering and Technical Management certification within 36 months as of entrance on duty.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter.
  • This position requires Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level I certification or the incumbent must be able to obtain certification within six (6) months of appointment.
  • May be required to work irregular duty hours to include working nights, weekends and holidays.
  • This position requires temporary duty (TDY) travel up to 50% of the time.

Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. To qualify you must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below based on the grade level required of the position being filled: 1) Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. 2) Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. 3) Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. 4) Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.

In addition to the competencies listed above, you must have one year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Creating certification, qualification, and/or developmental programs and opportunities for self and others; 2) Overseeing the activities of individuals and teams with focus on project/program issues; 3) Identifying resources to accomplish multiple projects'/programs' goals; 4) Performing Agile software development in a major Agile role such as Scrum Master, Product Owner (PO), or Release Train Engineer (RTE); AND 5) Assisting with organizing/leading Agile events, such as solution Planning and or Program Increment (PI) Planning across organizations.

This non-supervisory position is subject to a salary control point equivalent to the GS-13, step 10 base salary.

Education cannot be substituted for experience.
