Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following, knowledge of software necessary to create and implement operating systems applications used in the workplace. As well as demonstrating familiarity of Unix/Linux/Solaris and Oracle Fusion Middleware products. Examples of specialized experience include:
Measuring the performance, capacity, availability, serviceability and recoverability of operating systems
Consulting with cross-functional partners to determine resources necessary to accomplish the technological advancement of software systems
Providing administration support with the application server which includes maintenance and deployment of baselines, new and upgraded software applications
Ensuring the system is fully compliant with cybersecurity requirements and applying corrective actions to any findings and completing incident and systems status reports
Performing full range of operating system administration duties
Performing administration, maintenance and upgrades of cloud software and supporting infrastructure
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
