You will serve as a SCIENTIST in the FLEET SIGNATURES SYSTEMS DIVISION (CODE 763), of the SIGNATURES DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WAR CENTER, MD.
You will design, development, and test software and specialized software architectures for Signature Guidance systems and Tactical Decision Aids.
You will develop, modify, enhance, and sustain new or existing computer applications, software, or utility programs following software assurance best practices throughout the software lifecycle.
You will design and develop cybersecurity or cybersecurity-enabled products of Signature Training Systems/Networks and Signature Guidance Training Systems/Networks.
You will develop specific cybersecurity countermeasures and risk mitigation strategies for Signature Training Systems/Networks and Signature Guidance Training Systems/Networks.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the grade level or ND-03 (GS-09/11 equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional scientist analyzing software development to support system requirements.

Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science.

Bachelor's degree with 30 semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science.
