At the full performance level, major duties include:
Leads FDIC in the development, testing, configuration of Cloud-based enterprise-wide technologies; including the development of FDIC Microsoft Azure Cloud computing services such Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS).
Serves as the Project Technical Lead for cloud-based products and services for the FDIC.
Provides advisory services on, or independently drafts, requirements for new cloud-based initiatives, and evaluating and testing cloud-based products to determine which products best meet the IT requirements of the Corporation.
Registration with the Selective Service.
U.S. Citizenship is required.

Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG/GS-12 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience in architecting, designing, building, securing, testing of the implementation of Microsoft Cloud services to include Microsoft Office 365, and Microsoft Azure.
