Duties

Help

As a THEATER AEROSPACE OPERATIONS COMMAND AND CONTROL SPECIALIST, GS-2101-11, you will provide advanced technical,instructional, and training support to upgrade skills to obtain maximumperformance on all aspects of the Air Operations Center force level weaponssystem. In addition to training responsibilities, instructors perform senioradministrative tasks in support of the Air Operations Group.

Qualifications

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: : Experience, education, or training interpreting, explaining, and/or applying a variety of regulations and procedures. Experience using computer and automation systems.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 36 months experience, education, or training routine and non-routine preflight, in-flight, post-flight, ground or command and control (C2) duties according to specific transportation functions. Receives, interprets, extracts, and disseminates relevant data for mission planning or execution. Experience coordinating and negotiating with organizations/personnel both orally and in writing to resolve differences/problems. *For positions requiring supervisory functions; experience which included responsibility for the supervision and management of personnel.

Additional information

Recruitment, Retention and Relocation Incentive may be authorized up to 25% of base pay for a max of 4 years pending TAG approval.

Relocation costs are authorized subject to provisions of the Joint Travel Regulation and an agency determination that a Permanent Change of Station (PCS) move is in the Government's best interest.

Superior Qualifications and Special Needs Pay-setting Authority may be considered for this position. TAG is final approval authority for incentive programs (applicable to newly appointed federal employees or those with a 90 day break in service).
