Duties

Help
  • Serve as a command level marketing and graphic design advisor, who develops visual products for 3-Star level outreach programs and communication strategies.
  • Design and arrange print material, displays, and digital media products for the use of strategic communication for the Public Affairs Office.
  • Design promotional products to publicize ARCYBER?s outreach plans and commander?s communication strategy.
  • Provide web design and development and remains current on web development and multimedia software tools, presentation styles, and development trends.
  • Develop motion graphics, multimedia interactions, original graphics, and design recommendations.
  • Create and recommend appropriate branding guidance throughout the ARCYBER enterprise.
  • Provide guidance on how to satisfy branding requirements through design, communication and delivery as appropriate.
  • Assist with custom outreach principles and practices to respond to the needs of the organization.
  • Act as the primary liaison for printing, with a range of contacts in the Army Publishing Directorate (APD) and the Government Publishing Office (GPO).
  • Finalize product cost analysis and substantiate printing needs of the office.
  • Exercise delegated approval authority for GPO contract award for all products, obtains highly technical contract modifications when necessary.

  • Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain TOP SECRET security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain access to NSA and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) accredited facilities and networks. [Military External Affairs Division (MEAD) Security In-Processing (SIP) process.]
  • Must undergo and successfully complete an initial and periodic Counter-Intelligence Polygraph (CI Poly) examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI).
  • Must pass an initial and periodic urinalysis screening for illegal drug use.
  • Temporary duty travel may be required approximately 10% of the time.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one year specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by developing, designing, arranging and publishing print material, displays and digital media products to promote/display/advertise senior level (3-star military equivalent) communication materials; providing advisory services to staff and senior leaders to achieve strategic communication and outreach program goals for the organization; coordinating with public affairs staff to create/design/recommend branding guidance to reach the desired target audience/population through appropriate design, communication and delivery method; managing a printing program (budget, requirements, cost analysis contracts short/long range planning) to achieve an organizations printing needs in accordance with technical specifications, guidance and regulations.
