Summary

This position is located in the Morale, Welfare, and Recreation department in the Southwest region. The primary purpose of this position is to oversee various functions going on in the facility, perform first level supervisory duties and to ensure that established policies and procedures are followed.

Duties

Help

  • Monitors operations of a facility or assigned area, normally during absence of the club manager and/or assistant manager, and
  • normally at night or on weekends.
  • Responsible for the issue, receipt, and control of cash.
  • Makes unscheduled cash counts.
  • Prepares reports of significant occurrences during the shift.
  • Assures patron satisfaction by resolving complaints and other customer issues. Inspects and secures facility at the end of the shift.
  • Maintains and enforces security for funds, merchandise, supplies, equipment and property in accordance with directives and regulations.
  • Must be alert to alcohol abuse and take appropriate action.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Supervisory Controls
Position is under the supervision of the designated manager who provides instructions concerning current policies, procedures, and general information. Work is reviewed in terms of satisfaction of customers, protection of inventory and monies, ability to resolve problems and dependability.

Scope and Effect
The work involves a variety of tasks necessary to operate an activity operation. Duties involved effect the effectiveness and the efficiency of the operation, thus increasing the revenue received from the services.

Physical Demands
The work involves standing, walking, lifting and/or moving objects the could weigh up to 20lbs which require assistance from others. Moderate stress is common due to irregulars, last minute changes, and providing satisfying customer service.

Qualifications

A qualified candidate possess the following:

  • A minimum of one year experience which provides knowledge of facility, restaurant, business operations, or equivalent leadership
experience is required.
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and sales operation.
  • Ability to communicate both orally and in writing, and to provide work direction to other employees.
