Working with Communication Team and program officials to produce engaging visual and written content across digital and print mediums that bring awareness to the organization's programs and initiatives
Creates graphic designs projects through their full life cycle.
Assists with project proposals and plans, scope definitions, research, recommendations of approach and final implementations.
Creates, Edits and publishes web pages and other digital content.
Identify needs and opportunities to improve customer experience and support the development of new concepts, processes, and strategies.
Provides advice on digital content strategy and usability.
Engages NIST's Public Affairs Office on the development and implementation of agency-wide policy, standards, guidelines, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for web strategy, web products, and web content.
Ensures that CHIPS R&D digital communications and content conform to all federal regulations and agency policies, standards, and guidelines.
Provides technical expertise on web content management and graphic design publishing software.

This position requires one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 (ZA-2 at NIST) level. Specialized experience is defined as: Applying a variety of methods and techniques related to digital and print mediums in order to disseminate information regarding an organizations programs and initiatives.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done. We will credit all qualifying volunteer experience in your application.
