As the Assistant Inspector General for Integrity (AIG for OI), Investigations (INV) Division you will be required to perform the following major duties:
Conditions Of Employment
· U.S. citizenship is required.
· This position is special-sensitive and requires a Top-Secret Clearance.
· Appointment to and retention of this position is subject to satisfactory clearance and issuance of Top-Secret security clearance.
· Drug testing required.
· Initial SES Career Appointee is subject to a one-year SES Probationary Period unless you previously completed the probationary period
in the SES.
· The initial SES career appointment becomes final only after the successfully completion of the one-year.
· Within 30 days of entrance on duty (EOD) you must complete the OGE-278, Executive Financial Disclosure Form.
· Males born after 12/31/59 must be registered for the Selective Service.
· Veteran's Preference does NOT apply to SES positions.
· The incumbent works irregular, unscheduled, and overtime duty and has responsibility for recognizing, without supervision,
circumstances that require remaining on duty.
· Selectee will be required to qualify to carry and use firearms and other weapons as part of assigned duties and maintain such

· The incumbent will be required to undergo, and pass, regular medical examinations.
· The occupant of this position is subject to adherence to conflict-of-interest provisions for the Department of Homeland Security, OIG.

Query National information Center report, results of special agency check, etc.) before a final offer can be made.
There is no substitution of education for experience at this level.
Age Requirement: Applicants are subject to the maximum entry age into federal law enforcement positions, which is the date immediately preceding an individual's 37th birthday. This age restriction may not apply to those who have previously served in a Federal civilian (not military) law enforcement position covered by special hazardous duty retirement provisions.
Training Requirement: This position requires that you complete or have completed the eight week basic criminal investigator course at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glynco, GA, or an approved equivalent program. Retention in the position is subject to successful completion of the training.
