Duties

Help

Its purpose is to establish supply discipline as regulatory guidance; standardize supply discipline requirements; provide responsible personnel with a single listing of supply policy requirements; make the ARNG more efficient with respect to time spent monitoring subordinates' actions; eliminate repeat findings of noncompliance with policy; serve as a monitor for the Command Supply Discipline Program (CSDP) management controls. Develops sampling plans and procedures for validating unit/activity accountability and inventory certifications. Evaluates unit and organizational effectiveness. Develops and administers a system of reviews, management controls, evaluations, and checklists designed to ensure conformance with law and regulations. Collectively evaluates management effectiveness of property management functions and informing management of their programs. Applies statistical analysis techniques to measure progress, efficiency, and trends impacting the readiness of the organization and the effectiveness of management controls regarding logistics discipline to meet organizational goals and objectives. Interprets a variety of requirements making independent judgments to determine organizational compliance with applicable regulations, procedures and practices. Advises the DCSLOG/G4, Command Staff, unit/activity commanders, activity managers on the evaluation of basic program policies, regulatory requirements, and follow-up procedures regarding applicable completed evaluation. Develops processes, management, administrative, and technical evaluation plans for implementation by supervisors/managers. Recommends internal reporting and status tracking procedures to ensure adequate control in terms of deadlines, progress reports, and follow-up reports. During the assessment, the examiner reviews and ensures ground safety, fire prevention and security standards are being followed. Responsible for on the spot corrective assistance and guidance to unit/activity personnel during the conduct of the evaluation/review. Coordinates with other logistics sections within the USPFO and Joint Force Headquarters to resolve technical problems concerning supply and equipment authorizations and accountability. Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Membership in the Colorado Army National Guard.
  • Must hold the grade of E-4 thru E-8.
  • Compatible Military Assignment: 25B, 36B, 51C, 88M, 88N, 89A, 89B, 92A, 92F, 92G, 92Y, or 92W MOS or able to obtain it within one year of hire
  • Submit all required documentation.
  • May be required to successfully complete a probationary period.
  • Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
  • For positions requiring the operation for motor vehicle, candidates must have a valid state driver's license for the state in which they live or are principally employed.
  • For positions requiring a security clearance (Secret or Top Secret) the applicant must possess or be able to obtain a clearance within one year of appointment.

Qualifications

Military Grades: E-4 thru E-8

Compatible Military Assignments: 25B, 36B, 51C, 88M, 88N, 89A, 89B, 92A, 92F, 92G, 92Y, or 92W MOS or able to obtain it within one year of hire

1. Specialized experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position.

Must have at least 24 months of Specialized Experience in each of the following:
1. Experience which has provided a working knowledge of the National Guard organizational structures, functions, procedures, and techniques.
2. Experience analyzing, interpreting and developing policies and procedures of local management.

Preferred experience:
-Experience with GCSS-A and GFEBS

Education

Substitution of Education for specialized experience - Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree, in an accredited college or university, meets 6 months specialized experience.

8. Per ARNG-HRH Policy Memorandum #10-39, mandatory Full Time Staff (FTS) training is required within a year of hire as a condition of employment in vacancy announcements for both Technician and Active Guard Reserve positions. Failure of new FTS personnel to complete NGB prescribed courses at PEC within the first year of employment may be cause for reassignment to other full-time positions or termination of their employment.
