Help
  • You will plan, administer, provide oversight and guidance, and develop and manage overall work of the Command AOR.
  • You will set and adjust short-term priorities and prepare for completion of work.
  • You will provide advice, guidance, information, and training to subordinates on performance and administrative matters in order to further their personal and professional development.
  • You will carry out responsibilities that support the overall program to ensure continuity of services and maximum collaboration of all key stakeholders, in both the military and civilian communities.
  • You will conduct ongoing assessments to ensure consistency and effectiveness of the SAPR Program and the victim care system throughout the command AOR.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • A Counterintelligence Polygraph is required and a non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
  • Failure to retain this level of security clearance and access will be grounds for reassignment, demotion, or removal from the Federal Service.
  • This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver?s license.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain access tp Catch a Serial Offender (CATCH) Program, Defense Sexual Assault Incident Database (DSAID).
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Sexual Assault Advocate Certification Program (D-SAACP).

Qualifications

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, applicants must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly relates to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by: performing administrative and technical supervisory duties to include work planning, assignments, training, discipline and leave AND supporting programs to ensure service/collaboration of stakeholders; monitoring compliance with policies impacting the SAPR (Sexual Assault Prevention and Response) program.

This position is within the Work Category Supervision/Management at Work Level 2-Full Performance, Series and Grade GG-0101-12.

Education

Applicants must meet the following positive education qualifications requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Applicants must possess

Degree: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position.

OR

Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.

OR

Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.

This position is a DoD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 U.S.C. 1599f.
