As the Deputy Director of the Office of Technology, Services and Innovation (TSI), you will be responsible for duties to include, but are not limited to:
Supervises subordinate managers and serves as an advisor to the Director and executive leadership on engineering, technology, and program delivery programs, projects, and issues.
Collaborates with the agency Chief Information Officer (CIO) and other Office of the CIO personnel with respect to overlapping policy development and implementation, including but not limited to information security, privacy and confidentiality; supports the planning, acquisitions, and delivery of information systems ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of agency information systems and services.
Directs management of technical systems and facilities, including design, construction, and other initiatives necessary to accomplish approved program delivery objectives of USAGM networks and affiliates.
Oversees operations and maintenance of the central engineering organization and the worldwide complex that distributes and transmits programming to audiences around the globe.
Serves as a principal advisor to the USAGM community on technical programs and broadcast technology initiatives.
Establishes, maintains, and oversees a systematic process by which the acquisition and administration of relevant workforce, fiscal, and facility resources are planned, justified, documented, and executed with appropriate control mechanisms.
Represents USAGM in dialog with other governmental agencies, private industry and foreign countries on broadcast technology, program delivery, and related technical issues.
Provides managerial, scientific, and technical leadership through subordinate managers and supervisors to a highly specialized and professional staff responsible for a wide range of engineering and technology programs.
