As an Administrative Assistant with the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission, you will perform a wide range of administrative and secretarial functions in order to support the operations of your office. Such duties include but are not limited to:

In order to qualify for this position, you must have at least 3 years of progressively responsible experience, beyond high school, performing a wide range of administrative, secretarial, and organizational skills such as preparing correspondence, scheduling appointments, arranging travel, etc., one year which must be equivalent to the GS/GG-6 grade level in the Federal service.
The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the following: Knowledge of proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, and correspondence procedures; ability to work efficiently in handling multiple assignments; ability to deal tactfully with various levels of personnel; ability to work within a team environment or as a lead administrative assistant; and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Outlook and appointment calendar. The duty location of this position is Rockville, MD. In general, employees are expected to be in the office 4 days per pay period. Telework schedules are approved, on a case-by-case basis.
