Designs and develops publicity/marketing concepts and branded materials in a variety of formats and delivery vehicles such as hard copy, electronic publications, briefings, and interactive media, such as social media, website, video, and other products, by using comprehensive knowledge of design principles and production methods. Develops and implements marketing initiatives, promotions, and programs for the 673 & 773 Force Support Squadron (FSS) under the direction of the Marketing Director. Creates original graphic designs for publications, printed marketing, and digital advertisements. Executes layouts, presentation materials, and other media. Uses publication software (Adobe Suites, Microsoft Products) to create effective advertisements and designs for a variety of mix media. Determines marketing techniques and strategies to enhance participation and increase financial income to FSS activities. Performs qualitative and quantitative market research to improve customer relations, satisfaction, evaluate demographics, and determine advertising effectiveness. Produces copy-writing and edits materials for effective communication strategy and customer readability with minimum to no grammatical errors. Creates content with marketing artificial intelligence software and programs. Creates standardized templates for use by other within the marketing department and other FSS activities. Works with marketing department, activity managers, and leadership to produce quality and accurate promotions for events, programs, and offerings. Assists with web management, email marketing, and social media campaigns as needed. Performs other related duties as assigned.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Qualifying Experience:
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or relative field or at least 3 years of experience in the field. Must have experience/education which demonstrates skills in designing advertisements and marketing for events/programs using design/publishing software such as Adobe Suites or similar. Must have intermediate-level computer skills, including but not limited to internet, databases, Microsoft Office Suites, and project management. Must have the ability to design and layout advertisement copy from several of the programs listed. Must be organized, creative, detailed oriented, and accomplish multiple tasks within deadlines. Must be able to produce copy-writing without grammatical errors. Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English. Must possess skills in dealing with internal customers. Must have a strong results-driven portfolio demonstrating capabilities in graphic design. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier I investigation.
