Duties

Help
  • Assists the Fitness Facility Manager in the overall management and operation of a fitness facility.
  • Assists with the scheduling and outreach of organizational units at the facility.
  • Submits recommendations for budgetary and manpower requirements.
  • Assists in the assessment of facility requirements and helps develop plans and specifications for projects to augment or replace fitness and sports facilities.
  • Assists with the reviews of directives from higher levels of authority and prepares implementing SOPs.

  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty.
  • Possesses and maintains the following certifications: CPR, First Aid and AED.
  • Must complete the following courses/classes: MWR Orientation Course; Customer Service; Equipment (Safe Operation and Basic Maintenance Repair).
  • A one-year Supervisory probationary period may be required.
  • This position requires a favorably adjudicated T1/NACI background investigation.
  • Must be willing and able to work irregular hours to include Federal holidays, weekends, and evenings

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

  • Work experience carrying out a sports program that included a variety of individual and team sports; guiding participants in developing the skills needed for participation in sports activities and teaching the techniques of various sports.
