Help
  • You will manage and/or support project management efforts for various projects across M52.
  • You will provide information, advice and guidance to management and project managers on cost, schedule and performance, including financial management, quality compliance, project coordination both internal and external, and schedules.
  • You will oversee procurement, contractual issues, workload and financial input data for assigned programs.
  • You will manage funding through fund documents, fund/cost transfers and ensure funding is allocated properly to tasking.
  • You will work with the project manager to create and maintain funding reports, Project/Program Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), Plan of Action and Milestone schedules, resource allocation, project highlights, and configuration management.
  • You will participate in meetings, contract reviews, and program reviews; taking meeting minutes.
  • You will analyze and evaluate work processes related to program/project management and workflow through M52.
  • You will develop, establish, coordinate and maintain a program/project management information reporting system; serving as a senior specialist on program/project analysis and developing analytical guidelines.
  • You will develop life cycle cost analyses of projects or performing cost benefit or economic evaluations of current or projected programs.
  • You will support department portfolio reviews by organizing and orchestrating the bi-annual portfolio health review as required by the Manufacturing Project Office (MP), Portfolio Manager and M52 Branch Head.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

For NT-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-03 pay band (GS-09/10 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing administrative processes associated with project management. Examples of Qualifying Experience may include utilizing knowledge of program/project analysis and evaluation (Cost, schedule and performance); applying advanced statistical, accounting, budget and economic principles and techniques; maintaining a master schedule, acquisition processes and program life cycle management responsibilities.

For NT-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-02 pay band (GS-05 through GS-08 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting with review of procurement, contractual issues, workload and financial input data for assigned programs.

EDUCATION SUBSTITUTION FOR THE NT-04: Successful completion of 3 full academic years of progressively higher level graduate education
OR
Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
Possession of an LL.M.degree in a field directly related to the position being filled
OR
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience

EDUCATION SUBSTITUTION FOR THE NT-03: Successful completion of 2 full academic years of progressively higher level graduate education
OR
Successful completion of a masters or equivalent graduate degree
OR
Possession of an LL.B. or J.D. degree directly related to the position being filled
OR
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
