Duties

Help
  • Installs, swaps and repairs internal components, modems and other hardware in varying types of personal computers.
  • Instructs personnel in the use of hardware and software by conducting formal group training, providing individual instruction and writing appropriate documentation which can be used for customer desk reference.
  • Troubleshoots personal computer systems to detect problems.
  • Corrects problems with hardware and/or software.
  • Configures computers and installs software.

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3.
  • Incumbent will also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.

Minimum Requirements:
1. Work experience or education directly related to the duties to be performed.

1. Minimum 1-2 years experience configuring computers and installing software.
2. Experience installing and repairing internal components/modems.
