Duties

Help
  • Manage sensitive databases for the Transitional Year Program to ensure accurate and timely information management for the training program.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely completion of all evaluations and record keeping associated with the process to include analysis of block rotation issues affecting the Transitional Year Program.
  • Utilize a personal computer, with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook to perform daily requirements.
  • Compose correspondence on subjects as specifically requested by the Residency Director, physicians, and residents with information provided.
  • Resolve discrepancies of information or missing data for the training program.
  • Assist in the creation of program documentation like the Program Information Form (PIF) required for periodic Residency Review Committee (RRC) site visits or other required reports.
  • Maintain budget data and tracks use of funds for the training program.
  • Monitors approved budget to insure expenditures are within approved limits.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Proficiency Required: This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample with three or fewer errors.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service which includes compiling evaluations to ensure completion of rotation evaluation; staff evaluations; rotation critiques; peer evaluations; research evaluations or any other evaluation intended to provide information to enhance the residency program. Experience in coordinating purchase requests for office supplies and equipment
