Duties

Responsibilities:

  • Provide input in the formulation of the office's budget and present/defend resource requirements needed to carry out the long-term goals and objectives.
  • Plan, direct and evaluate the management aspects of the office's operational planning, program development, and administrative and management services programs.
  • Review program priorities and oversee the establishment of systems for evaluation of program effectiveness.
  • Advise senior management on workforce issues in the areas of planning, training, and program evaluation.
  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day work performed by the Administrative Resource Center staff and contract staff.Manage the fiscal spending activities of the office

Qualifications

You qualify at the GS-15 level, if you meet the following qualification requirements:

You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: developing administrative and business management goals, objectives, and plans; representing an organization on committees and work groups related to program planning and evaluation or resources management processes; advising management on workforce planning, training, or program evaluation issues; evaluating work assignments of subordinate staff; advising management officials on budgetary/fiscal policy that affects program operations; and ensuring that the financial management of grants and contracts are consistent with organizational policies.
