Duties

Help
  • Operates a small full-service bar, mixing and serving the full range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Records sales, makes change or prepares charge slips in accordance with operating procedures.
  • Keeps records of quantities of beverages dispensed and submits requirement for re-stocking to supervisor.
  • Keeps bar, utensils, equipment and work area clean and sanitary.
  • Receives and checks quantity and description of stock

  • An employer referred pre-employment physical examination is required.
  • Must be willing and able to work irregular hours to include Federal holidays, weekends, and evenings.
  • Must be physically able to regularly lift and carry items up to 20lbs and occasionally lift and carry items up to 40lbs.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

  • Can mix drinks using alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.
  • Can perform simple arithmetic to calculate bills and make change.
  • Can recognize and handle intoxicated patrons.
  • Can recognize shortages of supplies and replace them as necessary.
  • Can monitor and direct the work of other bar staff.
  • Will meet state/local age (18) requirements for the serving of alcoholic beverages at time of appointment (projected appointment date: 02/16/2023).
  • Can stand for long periods of time.
  • Can regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Can lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds.
