Duties

Help
  • Set up bars for operation, obtains cash bank and stocks service bar.
  • Assures an adequate stock level is maintained.
  • Prepares a limited variety of simple alcoholic beverages as requested by patrons and wait staff.
  • Identifies persons who become unruly or who appear intoxicated, resolves the problem or seeks assistance in accordance with established procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Satisfactorily complete a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training withing the first 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually.
  • Satisfactorily complete all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3 to include a medical examination.
  • Required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federal controlled facilities.
  • Availability and willingness to work a rotating shift which may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • This position is eligible to receive gratuities (tips) based on the type of event(s) and performance.

Qualifications

Candidate must:

  1. Meet state/local age requirement for serving of alcoholic and the time of appointment. (Age 18 by 2 weeks after submitting this application packet).
  2. Be able to lift and carry weights up to 20 pounds.
  3. Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds.
  4. Stand for prolonged periods of time.
  5. Possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory.
This experience must be reflected on your resume to be considered eligible for this position.

This position is a Flexible (Flex) position and there are 0 guaranteed hours per week. Flex employees are not entitled to leave or benefits. There is no upper limit to the number of hours a flexible employee may work (subject to overtime obligations and work scheduling requirements).
