Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: A degree: Mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science or field directly related to the position. The degree must be in a major field of study (at least at the baccalaureate level) that is appropriate for the position.
OR
Combination of education and experience: Courses equivalent to a major field of study (30 semester hours) as shown in paragraph A above, plus additional education or appropriate experience.
Minimum Qualifications: For GS-11: Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 in the Federal service as defined in the next paragraph. Specialized experience is experience which is directly related to the position which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) to successfully perform the duties of the position to include experience in building and implementing analytic products using statistical tools and programming techniques (e.g., R, SAS) to analyze data and to provide insights of findings.

I have completed 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education OR possess a PhD or equivalent graduate degree in a field that is directly related to the duties of this position.

I have a combination of specialized experience and graduate level education that meets 100% of the qualification requirements for this position.
For GS-12: Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 in the Federal service as defined in the next paragraph. Specialized experience is experience which is directly related to the position which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) to successfully perform the duties of the position to include experience in data and information management, software development and utilization, and statistical analysis and modeling.
