As an International Broadcaster (Multimedia)(Ukrainian), you will,:
Produces original content, adapts VOA News Center's production and available wire reports, and curates crowd-sourced materials to add value to multimedia content for VOA Ukrainian publications and programs across platforms. Generates story ideas and follows through on them. Travels as needed to cover key events.
Serves as a presenter or reporter in VOA programs; voices video packages, initiates and conducts original on-camera interviews with a wide variety of subjects and news sources; uses multimedia journalism to cover news events and feature stories of particular interest to the target audience. Material is highly targeted and of competitive quality equal to any commercial broadcast medium.
Produces/creates complex original TV or online reports focusing on a wide range of issues of interest to the target audience. Identifies compelling aspects of a story and synthesizes multiple sources of information, including but not limited to original research and field interviews with VIP newsmakers, officials, and experts in the target area, the US and Europe.
Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with team members, USAGM colleagues and with groups of individuals providing information or interviews for programs. Engages audience on all digital media platforms in communication relevant to Ukrainian service's mission.

Qualifications
Screen out Factor: Applicant must have fluency in both English and Ukrainian languages that enables you to speak, read, write, report, and translate in both languages. This language screen out factor MUST be listed in your resume.
Minimum qualifications for the GG-12 grade level: Applicants must have one (1) year of specialized experience at the GG-11 grade level (or equivalent experience). Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position includes:
Experience in anchoring live TV broadcasts and live streams on social media platforms in the Ukrainian language for major news organizations.
Experience in reporting, writing, recording, editing, and producing news and feature stories for TV.
Ability to create and develop engaging programs and multimedia content across broadcast and social media platforms
Ability to synthesizes multiple sources of information to tell stories about current news and major issues in the United States that are relevant to the Ukrainian's interest to the target audiences.
Knowledge of Ukraine its history, economics, culture, and socio-political development.
Education
