  • Incumbent works under the direction of the Assistant Aquatics Manager.
  • Responsible for the cleanliness of assigned area.
  • Checks maintenance of the facility and reports any problems to management.
  • Assist in the overall operation of the pool.

  • The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is LOCAL, Island of Oahu. This is an exciting opportunity and stepping stone to become a Lifeguard with U.S. Army Garrison Hawaii!

Those who work in this position will be provided with the opportunity to obtain Lifeguard certifications at no cost them. Once certified, employees become eligible for promotion to a Recreation Assistant (Lifeguard/Pool Operator), NF-0189-02 position with a pay rate increase.

Please note, this position does not have any working hours available, and paid hours are only for hours completed during Lifeguard certification course.
