Help

Under the direction of the Marketing Director, creates compelling graphic designs and professional layouts for advertisements, posters, flyers, brochures, newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, social media posts, website, and similar publications utilizing computer graphics and publishing software. Provides updates to the 14 FSS social media platforms including Facebook, lnstagram, and Twitter, with relevant and accurate posts, rich content, graphics, links, event information, and cross platform integration. Helps maintain the 14 FSS website and mobile app with content updates, checks for accuracy, troubleshooting any content problems, uploading graphics, adding events, and facility pages. Assists internal and external customers to manage and produce Print Shop orders, including providing price quotes and billing, as needed. Performs other related duties as assigned.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience:
Must have experience which provides specialized knowledge in graphic design. Experience must demonstrate the ability to produce graphics and layouts using various graphics and publishing software. Must have experience in managing social media platforms and the ability to maintain, update, add content, check for accuracy, and produce web optimized graphics. Must have experience using office equipment as well as large format printing, laminating and binding equipment. Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office or similar products for email, word processing, and presentations. Degree in graphic design desired. Must have ability to read, write and speak English. Must have good project management skills and communication skills, both written and oral. Must possess skill in dealing with customers and public. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a background investigation.

Education
