Duties

This position is located at Unaccompanied Housing Naval Station Everett. Incumbent will be responsible for front desk services including: Providing quality customer service throughout the check-in and check-out process, presenting a neat, clean and professional appearance at all times. Verifying eligibility and assigning residents per applicable minimum adequacy standards. Assigning personnel to ensure "best and highest use" use of UH. Ensuring check-in and check-out transactions are accurately recorded in eMH. Clerks are responsible for the accuracy of their data input and editing. Safeguarding residents' personally identifiable information (PII). Preparing eMH reports as required (e.g., daily vacant beds report for building managers). Creating new and replacement key cards per local policy and guidance. Inventory keys and other supplies maintained at the front desk. Providing new residents with linen sets (i.e., bed in a bag) and a copy of the installation's "Welcome aboard Handbook." Receiving and collecting resident trouble calls and requests. Reporting any resident complaint or concern to the front desk supervisor. If the issue is an emergency or has anything to do with a personal assault, immediately follow local emergency procedures. Enforcing UH guest and visitor policies and ensuring non-residents are escorted at all times by a building resident, UH staff member or responsible RA. Incumbent may need to provide guests information/maps of base or local area. Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • This position involves work on workdays, weekends, and holidays, as well as rotating shifts, often consisting of other than normal duty hours.

Qualifications

Six months of work experience that demonstrates knowledge of basic principles,
Concepts, standards, and regulations related to hospitality operations preferred. Incumbent must be skilled in the Use of a personal computer and various software programs. Must possess basic math and reading skills. Must Be able to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.

Education

Proof of education/training: if applicable, provide a copy of your awarded/conferred college transcript(s), if degree hasn't been conferred provide copy of HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent
