Duties

Help

Ensures security and privacy of all guests is maintained at all times. Demonstrates a welcoming manner and effective communication skills. Professionally interact with guests. Provides assistance in handling customer complaints. Performs deep cleaning as required to include defrosting refrigerator, cleaning windows, replacing/cleaning of drapes, carpet shampooing or cleaning. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Successful completion of National Agency Background (NACI) Check required.
This position involves work on workdays and may involve weekends, and holidays, as well as rotating shifts.
Physical exertion is involved in standing and walking for long periods, some bending, stooping and lifting is required.
Position requires a constant vigilance to ensure maximum security for UH residents and employees in and around the facility.
Certification for housekeeping outlined in the Lodging Career Path Guide obtained within established time frame.
Complete physical examination at a military medical facility maybe required for fitness for duty requirement.
May be required to possess valid driver's license as travel to other facilities within normal scope of duties may be required.

Qualifications

Must have general knowledge of cleaning procedures, cleaning equipment, commonly used chemicals (including SDS) and basic safety is required. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing with management, staff and guests.
