As a Director Program Operations and Customer Service Division, you will:

Implement and monitor procedures for all contracting services, including developing the HOC Procurement Plan and coordinating participation in the Small Business Administration Program. Evaluate the program areas performance in managing the contracts and reports and makes recommendations to the Center Director on Housing performance in the contracting arena.

Formulate and monitor the travel and other budgets for the HOC; establishes procedures to track and control program and administrative funds. Provides a wide range of administrative services to staff in the HOC and out-stationed locations.

Maintain liaison with the program staff of the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Housing for the propose of assuring that the Deputy Assistant Secretary is kept advised of housing matters and Problem in the field.

The official duty station for this position will be in Atlanta, Georgia. Failure to report to duty at this location may be grounds for a disciplinary action, including removal.

Key Requirements:

  • Must be U.S. Citizen or U.S. National.
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • A one year supervisory or managerial probationary period may be required.
  • Must successfully complete a background investigation.
  • Public Trust - Background Investigation will be required.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

Specialized Experience: For the GS-14 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:

-Monitoring administrative and budget functions; monitoring human resources and procurement functions; assessing training needs of program personnel and developing a plan to provide appropriate training; AND

-Assessing and analyzing performance of a program or office in order to make recommendations to improve performance.



Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
