The applicants selected will be offered an excepted appointment not-to-exceed one (1) year. The starting date of employment is expected to be approximately January 2023.
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. For CG-4 by Experience: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 3 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work experience that includes using office software (Outlook, Word, Excel); compiling data, coordinating materials for reports, drafting correspondence, preparing presentations, filing paperwork and directing information to the appropriate individual.
For CG-4 by Education: To qualify based on education, applicants must have completed 2 years of post-high school study or an associate's degree.

The range of pay shown includes base pay plus supplemental locality adjustments. The locality rates for these duty locations range from a low of 9.38% to a high of 22.10%.
