Duties

Help
  • Establish goals, develop policies, and allocate available resources to ensure implementation of program objectives.
  • Manage various human resources responsibilities including recruitment, staffing, training, performance management, benefits, and employee relations.
  • Propose, revise, develop, and/or implement OIG policies within the parameters allowed by law and regulation as directed by upper management.
  • Assign work to subordinates based on priorities, consideration of difficulty, requirements of assignments, and capabilities of employees.

Qualifications

For the GS 15: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service which includes experience in overseeing various human resources functions such as staffing and recruitment, performance management, training, employee relations, work-life flexibilities, and benefits; experience creating, reviewing and implementing organizational level policies derived from approved regulations; and experience distributing and managing the work of a team to ensure mission accomplishment.

Merit promotion applicants must meet time-in-grade requirement as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F. One year at the GS-14 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS15 level.

DO NOT submit NON-Pay Impacting Action SF-50's to include "Org Cost Center Change SF-50's, Award SF-50's and/or General Adjustment SF-50's" ect. as they cannot be used to prove time-in-grade.

You must meet all qualification and eligibility requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
